Thornton Road, Lodi, CA
Annual Five-Year Review Update Recommendations June 2011
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has received and reviewed the
annual five-year review update letter dated 28 June 2011 from Kirk Larson of the State Water
Quality Control Board (SWQCB) Cleanup Fund (CUF) for the above-referenced site. The CUF
concurred with the EHD that remedial action should continue until contaminant mass recovery
rates drop precipitously.
The consultant has indicated verbally to the EHD that the mass recovery rate has declined
precipitously, but has not yet submitted a report demonstrating this to be the case. The EHD will
review the report when received and determine the next appropriate action that should be taken.
Questions or comments should be directed to Mike Infurna at (209) 468-3454 or to Nuel
Henderson at (209)468-3436.
Sincere
Michael J.
