313's Truck Plaza Notice of InteW- Page 1 of 1
Mike Infurna [EH]
From: Timothy Cuellar[tcuellar@advgeoenv.com]
Sent: Friday, August 25, 2006 5:49 PM
To: Mike Infuma [EH]
Cc: Bob Marty
Subject: 3B's Truck Plaza Notice of Intent
Mike, in accordance with our telephone conversation on Monday,21 August 2006, 1 am writing this email to notify
you of the 3B's Truck Plaza's intends to have established a connection to the San Joaquin County water district
by 15 October 2006. Andy Zarakani has entered into a contract with G & N Construction and has authorized G &
N Construction to begin work; I met with Mr. Phil Goes (209-956-6000)of G& N Construction this morning at the
313's site, and he indicated that G & N would begin construction in two to three weeks, depending how quickly
encroachment and building permits could be obtained from San Joaquin County Public Works.
I also contacted Mr. Steve Dalton, Fire Marshall for this area to discuss fire protection needs for the 313's Truck
Plaza once the water connection is established. Mr. Dalton indicated that I would need to bring in a set of plans of
the 3B's site so that he could make a decision as to what the fire protection needs should be for the site. I
indicated to Mr. Dalton that a fire hydrant is currently located at the northeast corner of the adjacent property
(Rocky's Restaurant), and that if additional fire protection was warranted for the 313's site, that our preference
would be to utilize the existing domestic water well soley for fire protection. If Mr. Dalton deems that the existing
domestic water well cannot be utilized for fire protection, then the 36's Truck Plaza will have to install a holding
tank and containment that meets San Joaquin County fire protection standards.
If the existing domestic water well is not utilized for fire protection, than AGE is planning to abandon the domestic
water well. Assuming that fire protection at the 3B's Truck Plaza is serviced by either the Rocky's Restaurant fire
hydrant or by the above referenced holding tank, than AGE anticipates abandoning the 313's truck plaza domestic
water well by 15 November 2006.
If you should have any further questions, please do not hesitate to call me. Thanks -Tim
Timothy Joseph Cuellar
Project Geologist
Advanced GeoEnvironmemal.Inc.
(209)467-1006
tcuellar@advgeoenv.com
This emailfay message is•for the sole us•e of the intended recipient(s}and mar contain confidential and privileged
e
information.
