The following Uniform Building Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance requirements will <br /> be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to the <br /> Building Inspection Division: <br /> a. The proposed building shall be provided with an automatic fire sprinkler system or <br /> divided into areas less than 6,000 square feet by area separation walls. <br /> b. Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled access requirements(C.C.R,Title 24). <br /> C. The proposed project is located within an expansive soil area where a conventional <br /> foundation may not be suitable. Therefore, an engineer is required to evaluate the <br /> foundation design. <br /> 2. The Construction Site Plan shall indicate the following: <br /> a. Provide parking for the physically handicapped. The space(s) shall be located as <br /> close as possible to the primary entrance (C.C.R., Title 24). <br /> b. Provide identification signs for the parking space(s) including the 'tow away' sign at <br /> each entrance or visible from each space (C.C.R., Title 24). <br /> C. The slope of a parking space shall not exceed 1/4 inch per foot (C.C.R, Title 24). <br /> 3. Obtain permits to demolish existing restaurant. <br /> JH/CF:hb <br />
