The following Uniform Building Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance requirements will <br /> be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to the <br /> Building Inspection Division: <br /> a. The proposed use will change the occupancy from a storage building, M-1 occupancy <br /> to a retail sales, B-2 occupancy (U.B.C. Section 502). The structure must be brought <br /> Into compliance with all current code provisions Including structural, plumbing, <br /> mechanical, electrical, energy and handicap requirements. <br /> b. Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled access requirements(C.C.R,Title 24). <br /> 2. A grading plan shall be submitted and approved and a grading permit issued by the Building <br /> Inspection Division prior to performing any excavation or filling of earth material: <br /> a. A grading plan shall contain the information listed in the U.B.C., Appendix, Chapter <br /> 70, Section 7006(1). <br /> b. The grading plan shall include complete drainage details and elevations of the <br /> adjacent parcels. Retaining wall details shall be submitted where applicable. <br /> C. Grading in excess of 5,000 cubic yards shall comply with Section 7014 for <br /> 'Engineered Grading Requirements.' <br /> d. All recommendations of the soils engineer shall be incorporated in the grading plans. <br /> e. All compaction reports must be submitted prior to a foundation Inspection. <br />
