SA-92-28 . The District has the following comments and recommendations: 1. San Joaquin County's air quality relative to National and State Ambient Air Quality Standards has been designated as a non-attainment area by the California Air Resources Board as follows: PM-10 - Non-attainment CO - Non-attainment (for Stockton Metropolitan Statistical Area only) Ozone - Non-attainment (possible SIP call area) The California Clean Air Act, AB 2595, requires counties which are designated non-attainment to achieve a 546' annual reduction in emissions until the standards are met. 2. The applicant should be aware of the PM-10 Rule and the Indirect Source Review Rule, both of which are currently proposed by the District for adoption in the near future. Both of these rules may affect the applicant's project. A copy of these rules is available upon written request to the District.- CONDITIONS istrict.CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL 3 . Emissions generated during the construction/grading are of concern to the District. The applicant shall implement the District's fugitive dust control practices if and when construction and/or grading takes place.
