The
approved project includes a package treatment plan for sewa-g6
disposal, a two-well water system, and a detention pond with
terminal outlet for storm drainage. These facilities will be
dedicated to a County Service Area. The site is located on the
south side of Eight Mile Road, 3 , 280 feet east of West Lane,
north of Stockton. The site is bordered on the east by the
Southern Pacific Railroad and on the south by Bear Creek.
The Development Services Division has reviewed the request for a
one year time extension and offers the following comments:
General Plan and Zoning
The eastern edge of this site is designated I/G (General
Industrial) and the remaining portion is designated I/L (Limited
Industrial) on the 2010 General Plan. The zoning for the eastern
8 lots (lots 6. through 13) is I-G (General Industrial) and the
zoning for the remaining lots is I-L (Limited Industrial) . No
conflicts with the 2010 General Plan and Development Title have
been identified.
Eight Mile Road Specific Road Plan
This site is inconsistent with the Eight Mile Road Specific Road
Plan. The Planning Commission has reviewed the plan and has
recommended that the Board of Supervisors approve the plan.
However, the Board has not taken action on the plan. The
Department of Public Works is reviewing this time extension
request as it relates to the Eight Mile Road Specific Road Plan
and will comment at the Development Committee Meeting.
