WOOD COMPANY <br /> ----------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> The Planning Division has reviewed the above-referenced <br /> application, as well as the draft copy of the required <br /> Environmental Impact Report (ER-90-8) , and will recommend approval <br /> to the Planning Commission subject to the following conditions of <br /> approval and Ordinance requirements. <br /> Conditions of Approval: <br /> 1. Temporary revegetation shall be planted in areas where <br /> aggregate extraction is complete, with exception of the area <br /> of active excavation. A Revegetation Plan, prepared by a <br /> qualified biologist, shall be submitted to the Director for <br /> approval. <br /> 2 . Maximum slopes for excavation and reclamation areas, as <br /> developed by a soils engineer or certified engineering <br /> geologist, shall be included in the Grading Plan and submitted <br /> to the Director for approval. <br /> 3 . Minimum setbacks for excavation near the bluff areas, as <br /> developed by a soils engineer or certified engineering <br /> geologist, shall be included in the Grading Plan and submitted <br /> to the Director for approval. <br /> 4 . The Reclamation Plan shall indicate that surface soils and <br /> subsoils shall be separated during excavation of each strip <br /> and be replaced in the same relative position during ongoing <br /> rehabilitation. <br />
