S E C ® R <br /> Circle K 8671 <br /> March 9, 2006 <br /> Page 3 <br /> Based on TRC's Quarterly Monitoring Report dated February 14, 2006, the following maximum <br /> concentrations were reported as follows <br /> TPPH 2,100 pg/L (MW-1) <br /> Benzene X25 pg/L <br /> MTBE 2,900 pg/L (MW-4) <br /> MTBE concentration trends in the shallow zone range from stable to increasing Deep wells MW-7, <br /> MW-8, and MW-10 were reported as non-detect for all analytes Groundwater direction in the <br /> shallow zone was to the northeast at 0 001 ft/ft and in the deep zone was to the east at 0 001 fvft <br /> REMEDIATION STATUS <br /> A soil vapor extraction (SVE) pilot test was conducted during the 2nd Quarter 2005 A report <br /> documenting the pilot test results was submitted in the 3`d Quarter 2005 Interim ozone sparging will <br /> begin upon approval by the Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> CHARACTERIZATION STATUS <br /> Contamination in soil has been adequately delineated TPPH and benzene have been delineated in <br /> groundwater both laterally and vertically MTBE has been delineated in groundwater laterally and <br /> vertically with the exception of delineation to the northwest in shallow groundwater <br /> •� <br /> CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> Based on groundwater concentration vs time graphs provided by TRC, MTBE in the shallow zone <br /> has started to decrease or stabilize in all wells except MW-4 SECOR completed a SVE pilot test <br /> and submitted the results in the 3rd Quarter 2005 SECOR also recommends continued monitoring <br /> to verify contaminant concentration trends at the site <br /> RECENT SUBMITTALS/CORRESPONDENCE <br /> January 9, 2006 —Quarterly Status Summary Report— Fourth Quarter 2006 <br /> THIS QUARTER ACTIVITIES (First Quarter 2006) <br /> 1 TRC performed quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling <br /> 2 SECOR submitted quarterly site status report <br /> NEXT QUARTER ACTIVITIES (Second Quarter 2006) <br /> 1 TRC to perform quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling <br /> 2 SECOR to submit quarterly site status report <br /> 3 SECOR to prepare bench scale test for ozone sparging <br /> LIMITATIONS <br /> • <br />
