APPLICANT: Same 3 1520 First Street Escalon, CA 95320 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A Site Approval application to expand an existing trailer manufacturing facility to include the construction of a 15,963 square foot trailer manufacturing building. The project site has direct access from South Mariposa Road, and proposes one (1) shift with thirty (30) employees. The project will be served by the California Water Company for public water service, and will have on-site facilities for storm water retention and sewage disposal. The project site is not under a Williamson Act contract. (Use Type: General Industrial-Intermediate) The Property is zoned I-G (General Industrial) and the General Plan designation is I/G (General Industrial). PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is located on the north side of South Mariposa Road, 114 feet north of South Pock Lane, Stockton. (APN/Address: 173-040-03 & -04/1748 South Mariposa Road, Stockton) (Supervisorial District: 1) ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: This is a Notice of Intent to adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project as described. San Joaquin County has determined that through the Initial Study that contains proposed mitigation measures all potentially significant effects on the environment can be reduced to a less than significant level. The Mitigated Negative Declaration and Initial Study can be viewed on the Community Development Department website at www.sigov.org/commdev under Active Planning Applications. APPLICATION REVIEW: Recommendations and/or comments on this project must be submitted to the Community Development Department no later than April 16, 2020.
