r. <br /> F. <br /> /501 <br /> GEMMATR]X <br /> GEOTECHNICAL STUDY REPORT FOR <br /> CITY OF TRACY <br /> LEWIS MANOR WELL PUMP STATION <br /> Tracy, California <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> This report describes the geotechnical study performed by Geomatrix Consultants, Inc. <br /> (Geomatrix), for a pump station planned by the City of Tracy at the site of the new Lewis <br /> Manor well (Figures 1 and 2). This report also addresses the <br /> design of new asphalt pavements <br /> P <br /> at the site. <br /> 1.1 PURPOSE AND SCOPE <br /> The purpose of this study is to provide the geotechnical information and recommendations <br /> needed for the design of the new pump station and site pavements. The scope of work <br /> consisted of the task elements described below: <br /> r <br /> Task Description <br /> A Compile and Review Information <br /> B Perform Field Exploration Program <br /> C Conduct Laboratory Testing <br /> D Perform Engineering Analyses and Evaluations and Prepare Geotechnical <br /> C Report <br /> E Review Plans and Specifications <br /> F Provide consultation . <br /> i <br /> The work performed in each task is described in the Scope of Work attached to the Agreement <br /> between KennedyJenks Consultants KJC and Geomatrix dated 22 February, 1999. <br /> (KJC) �Y, <br /> 1.2 AUTHORIZATION AND PROJECT ORGANIZATION <br /> This geotechnical study was performed in accordance with the professional consulting services <br /> agreement between Geomatrix and KJC dated 22 February 1999. The work described in this <br /> report was coordinated with Mr. Marcellino Sanchez- Project Manager for KJC. <br /> Ke.
