Eastside Winery,Lodi, Sa*aquin Co. FALL.CREEK
Monitoring Well Installation Report ENGINEERUNG,INC.
B. Well Development
Date: 20 April 2002, 24 April 2002
The well was developed by bailing with a polyethylene bailer. This was first
done upon placement of the sand pack on the day of drilling. The well contained
about 5 feet of water, which is equivalent to about 0.8 gallon. In the course of
bailing and surging the sand pack 7 `/Z gallons were removed from the well in the
course of 65 minutes. The water was noticeably clearer at the end of this
exercise than at the beginning. On April 24, 5 gallons of water were purged from
the well with a 1-liter bailer. A sample of this water was retained for analysis.
There was no change in water level associated with developing the well.
C. Well Surveying
The reference point elevation and coordinates were determined by measuring
offsets from wells 2 and 3 which had previously been surveyed by Delta Surveys,
1115 Black Diamond Way,Lodi, CA 95240, a licensed civil engineer. The
reference point elevations refer to the tops of the PVC casings; the bench mark
elevation used was USGS San Joaquin County No. U 1106. The horizontal
coordinates follow the convention that positive X is to the east and positive Y is
to the north. The data are:
Well Reference Point Y Coordinate X Coordinate
Elevation
1 52.19 -590.70 -1269.07
2 59.99 -803.35 -574.60
3 51.07 0 0
4 47.82 -743.96 1 -83.82
D. Water Sampling
The well was sampled for analysis on 24 April, 2002. The details of this exercise
and the laboratory findings are presented in a separate report.
Please call me at(530)756-2288 with any questions you may have concerning the
installation of this in . ell.
QSpFESS/64,
Sincerely you Op ARASF2
c' m
LU
Richard A g,4h , E. 7D
Principal Sct is _7w
Cwt.
aQ
CC: Lee Eich ''Es ,P.O.
