C A M B R I A <br /> cr� D4-� �� �"ttl• �a <br /> October 15, 1998 <br /> Mr Harlin Knoll <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> P O Box 388 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Re Quarterly Monitoring Report - Third Quarter 1998 <br /> Shell-branded Service Station <br /> 3725 Tracy Boulevard <br /> Tracy, California <br /> WIC 4204-7884-0901 <br /> Dear Mr Knoll <br /> This Quarterly Monitoring Report describes the recently completed activities associated with <br /> ground water monitoring and sampling at the referenced site (Plates I and 2) This report <br /> was prepared to meet reporting requirements issued by the Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board, Central Valley Region and San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental <br /> Health Division <br /> 40 Monitoring & Sampling Summary <br /> Ground water monitoring and sampling for this quarter are summarized below <br /> • Blaine Tech Services, Inc (Blaine) of San Jose, California measured ground water levels <br /> and collected ground water samples from Wells MW-IA, MW-2A, and MW-3A on <br /> August 13, 1998 Samples were transported to Sequoia Analytical of Redwood City, <br /> California for chemical analysis <br /> • Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) evaluated water-level measurement <br /> data and prepared a ground water contour map (Plate 2) Ground water flow is to the <br /> northeast at an approximate hydraulic gradient of 0 001 <br /> Oakland CA a MTBE was detected in Wells MW-IA at a concentration of 190 ppb Methanol was not <br /> Sonoma CA <br /> Portland OR detected in any of the wells A chemical concentration map was prepared and is <br /> Seattle WA presented on Plate 2 <br /> Cambria <br /> Environmental Quarterly Sampling <br /> Technology, Inc <br /> Monitoring Wells MW-IA, MW-2A, and MW-3A were sampled and analyzed for Total <br /> *70 Perkins Street <br /> P O Box 259 Purgeable Petroleum Hydrocarbons quantitated as gasoline (TPPH) and methanol according <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel (707)935"4850 <br /> fax(7o7)935-6649 <br />
