r , <br /> k� <br /> CAMBRIA <br /> January 15, 1998 <br /> Mr Alex Perez <br /> Shell Oil Products Company <br /> P O Box 8080 <br /> Martinez, California 94553 <br /> Re Quarterly Monitoring Report - Fourth Quarter 1997 <br /> Shell Service Station <br /> 3725 Tracy Boulevard <br /> Tracy, California <br /> WIC #204-7884-0901 <br /> Dear Mr Perez <br /> This Quarterly Monitoring Report describes the recently completed activities associated with <br /> ground water monitoring and sampling at the referenced site (Plates l and 2) This report was <br /> prepared to meet reporting requirements issued by the Regional Water Quality Control Board, <br /> Central Valley Region and San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health <br /> Division <br /> Monitoring & Sampling Summary <br /> Ground water monitoring and sampling for the fourth quarter 1997 are summarized below <br /> • Blaine Tech Services, Inc (Blaine) of San Jose, California measured ground water levels and <br /> collected ground water samples from Wells MW-lA, MW-2A, and MW-3A on November <br /> 19, 1997 Samples were transported to Sequoia Analytical of Redwood City, California for <br /> CAMBRIA chemical analysis <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) evaluated water-level measurement <br /> TECHNOLOGY,INC data and prepared a ground water contour map (Plate 2) Ground water appears to flow <br /> northeasterly at an approximate hydraulic gradient of 0 001 <br /> 27O PERKINS STREET, <br /> PO Box 259 0 MTBE was detected in Wells MW-IA and MW-2A at concentrations of 66,000 ppb and <br /> 240 ppb, respectively Methanol was detected in Well MW-lA at a concentration of <br /> SONOMA, <br /> 21,000 ppb A chemical concentration map was prepared and is presented on Plate 2 <br /> CA 95476 <br /> 935-48511 <br /> FAXVG935-6649 <br />
