Jeff Granberry <br /> Shell Oil Products Company <br /> P O Box 4023 <br /> Concord, California 94524 <br /> RE: Annual Monitoring Report - 1996 <br /> Shell Service Station <br /> 3725 Tracy Boulevard <br /> Tracy, California <br /> WIC #204-7884-0901 <br /> Dear Mr Granberry <br /> This Annual Monitoring Report describes the recently completed activities associated with <br /> ground water monitoring and sampling at the referenced site (Plates I and 2) This report <br /> was prepared to meet reporting requirements issued by the Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board, Central Valley Region and San Joaquin County Public Health Services, <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> Monitoring & Sampling Summary <br /> Ground water monitoring and sampling are summarized below <br /> • Blaine Tech Services, Inc (Blaine) measured ground water levels and collected <br /> samples from Wells MW-1A through MW-3A on February 29, 1996 Samples were <br /> transported to National Environmental Testing, Inc (NET) in Santa Rosa, California <br /> for chemical analysis <br /> • Blaine measured ground water levels and re-sampled Wells MW-lA through MW-3A <br /> on April 30, 1996 Samples were transported to Crosby Laboratories Inc of Placentia, <br /> California for chemical analysis <br /> • Enviros, Inc (Enviros) evaluated water-level measurement data and prepared a ground <br /> water contour map using the February 29, 1996 water-level data (Plate 2) Ground <br /> water flow direction appears to be to the east The hydraulic gradient was calculated to <br /> be 0 007 <br /> • A benzene concentration map was prepared and is presented on Plate 2 <br /> Annual Sampling <br /> Monitoring Wells MW-IA through MW-3A were sampled and analyzed for Total <br /> Purgeable Petroleum Hydrocarbons quantitated as gasoline (TPPH) according to EPA <br /> Enviros, Inc 270 Perkins Street Sonoma Cafrforn+a Tel 7071935 4850 <br /> P 0 Box 259 95476 0259 Fax 707/935 6649 <br />
