Louise Avenue <br /> Lathrop, California <br /> Dear Mr. Catanyag: <br /> This letter responds to the UST Program Inspection Report by the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department(EHD), October 13, 2005 for the ARCO facility <br /> identified above. <br /> 1. Alleged Violation: The UST Program Inspection Report stated, "#10. The 91 SUL <br /> annular sensor does not continuously monitor the tank. Repair or Replace the sensor <br /> under a permit from this office immediately." <br /> Response: In response to your request, we applied for a permit to alter the monitoring <br /> system on October 13,2005. The sensor was replaced and retested under your <br /> supervision on October 13, 2005. (noted on the inspection report-10/13/2005). <br /> 2. Alleged Violation: The UST Program Inspection Report stated, "#18,the 89-PUL spill <br /> container failed the tightness test. Repair or replace under permit from this office by <br /> 10/20/05." <br /> Response: In response to your request, we applied for a permit to change out the 89-PUL <br /> spill containment prior to October 20, 2005 and then had the witness testing of that <br /> bucket on 10/20/2005, with you(Dennis Catanyag)present. Elite IV pulled the permit <br /> and conducted the retesting, or `lake test'. <br /> LA2:739760.1 <br />
