Split samples should be <br /> obtained when evaporative losses are not a concern. <br /> Page 11-8, Section 11. 1.5.3. Prepared performance samples <br /> should be submitted blind to the lab as a substitute for spiked <br /> samples. <br /> Page 12-1, Section 12 .0: Audit Procedures. Sections 12 . 1 <br /> and 12 .2 state that audits "may" be scheduled. Will they be <br /> scheduled, what is the frequency and will performance samples be <br /> submitted? <br /> Page 13-1, Section 13 .0: Preventative Maintenance <br /> Procedures. Maintenance of the PID or OVA field instruments to <br /> be used are not mentioned. <br /> Page 15-1, Section 15. 0: Corrective Action. The last <br /> paragraph should read that changes to the SAAP or QAPjP that <br /> could significantly affect the data should additionally be <br /> approved by the Department. <br /> comments and Recommendations <br /> This workplan should not be approved until quality assurance <br /> objectives are provided.
