■ Z1 INC <br /> Each soil sample collected from the borings T-1, T-2, and AB-1 were analyzed by a <br /> California State certified analytical laboratory for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline <br /> (TPH-G), diesel (TPH-D) using U S Environmental Protection Agency Test Method 8015 <br /> (modified) Benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene (BTEX) concentrations were <br /> analyzed by U S Environmental Protection Agency Test Method 8020 Total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons (TPRH) were analyzed by U S Environmental Protection Agency Test <br /> method 4181 which detects heavy hydrocarbons <br /> 4.51 Boring T-1 <br /> Results of laboratory analyses for boring T-1 are shown on Appendix I - Table 10 <br /> Petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline were reported from samples collected from depths <br /> of 5, 10, and 15 feet at concentrations of 220 ppm, 160 ppm, and 170 ppm, respectively <br /> Respective reported concentrations of hydrocarbons as diesel were 8,700 ppm, 2,300 <br /> ppm, and 17,000 ppm at depths of 5, 10, and 15 feet Total petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> . were reported from depths of 5, 10, and 15 feet at concentrations of 11,000 ppm, 4,700 <br /> ppm, and 41,000 ppm, respectively No hydrocarbons were detected at depths greater <br /> than 15 feet <br /> No VOCs were reported from samples collected from 5 and 20 feet Four chlorinated <br /> VOCs were reported at low concentrations from depths ranging at 10 to 25 feet Toluene <br /> and ethylbenzene were reported in the sample from 10 feet at 0 029 and 013 ppm, <br /> respectively <br /> The sample from 15 feet was analyzed for total manganese The total manganese <br /> concentration was reported at 250 ppm This reported manganese concentration is well <br /> within the range of naturally occurring concentrations in sods in this area (Page, 1986) <br /> 12270010 013 Page 13 <br />
