Soil at the site consisted predominantly of fine sands and sandy silts. No petroleum odors or
discoloration were observed during sampling activities. Laboratory analysis of soil samples
collect from the site detected no petroleum hydrocarbon constituents, which suggests that no
significant soil contamination exists in the vicinity of the underground fuel storage tanks or the
dispenser island. The laboratory report is included in Attachment B.
This letter report has been prepared for the exclusive use of Mr. LaDon Strapp, as it applies to
the property located at 20 W. Turner Road, Lodi, California. The conclusions and
recommendations rendered herein are opinions, based on readily available information obtained
to date, within the scope of work authorized by the client. Although no evidence of petroleum
hydrocarbons were present at the soil sampling locations, it should be born in mind that no
samples were collected directly beneath the underground storage tanks due to logistical and cost
considerations. Work has been performed in accordance with generally accepted practices in
environmental engineering, engineering geology, and hydrogeology. No other warranty, either
expressed or implied, is made. This report should not be regarded as a guarantee that no further
contamination, beyond that which was identified within the scope of this investigation, is present
beneath the property. If additional information regarding the present or past use of hazardous
materials at or near the site becomes available, the need for further investigation should be re-
evaluated.
Please call me if you have any questions or require additional information.
Sincerely,
Ground Zero Analysis, Inc.
iR
John P.
