Installation of four soil borings,one monitoring well and collection of soil samples and water samples. <br /> 2. Laboratory analysis of soil and water samples for total petroleum hydrocarbons and BTEX. f <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: f <br /> 1. Soil samples must be collected for lithological description from 10 feet below surface grade(bsg)to the <br /> total depth of the borings. <br /> 2. Discrete water samples must be collected from 20 feet;bsg and at the bottom of the boring. The total <br /> depth of the boring should be at least to 40 feet bsg. If sand is not encountered at 40 feet bsg drilling <br /> should continue until sand is encountered so the water'sample is collected in a sand interval. <br /> 3. If the boring location to the east of the former UST area cannot be moved closer to the release area it may <br /> not be necessary. <br /> 4. Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board is requiring analysis for 1,2-DCA and this analysis <br /> has not be performed at this site. Water samples should be analyzed for 1,2-DCA using EPA Method <br /> 8260. <br /> 5.
