Washington St <br /> Stockton CA 95201 <br /> Subject: UST Site #3 LOP Case #: 1282124 <br /> Port Rd G at 13t4 St CUF#: 013777 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 Global ID #: T0607700817 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed Ozone <br /> Peroxide Pilot Test Report (Report), dated August 19, 2011, submitted by your <br /> consultant, WGR Southwest, Inc. <br /> :The Report covers the procedure for and the results of the injection since March 2011 of <br /> approximately 200 pounds of ozone and 144 gallons of'hydrogen peroxide into the N <br /> subsurface through dedicated test wells installed under EHD approval. <br /> Conclusions in the.Report stated that subsurface conditions rendered remediation via <br /> oxidation injection to be ineffective and it recommended to discontinue injection of the <br /> oxidizers and to decommission the Ozone-Peroxide system at the site, then after one <br /> year, submitting 'a reassessment of the site to the EHD that addresses remediation <br /> needs. The EHD concurs. <br /> Please continue to monitor the site and sample the.existing monitoring wells as per the <br /> approved schedule.
