You are receiving this letter as a courtesy notice because records <br /> indicate you have a property that is in the vicinity of this area. <br /> F Subsurface assessments and monitoring activities have been performed at this site since 1988, <br /> E! when a leaking underground storage tank of gasoline was detected and removed. Currently, the <br /> extent of subsurface contamination has been delineated and activities to remediate the <br /> contamination have been planned with the San Joaquin Department of Environmental Health. <br /> This remediation work will involve the injection of oxidizing compounds, such as ozone, <br /> hydrogen peroxide and dissolve oxygen into various underground zones of contamination and <br /> Ij requires a permit from the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board. Bench test <br /> studies have been performed to ensure that these oxidizing compounds are effective but yet will <br /> not produce any undesirable or harmful by-products in the ground.
