Washington St <br /> Stockton CA 95201 <br /> Subject: UST Site#3 RO#: 0673 <br /> Port Rd 13 at G St CUF#: 013777 <br /> Stockton, CA. 95201 Global ID#: T0607700817 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed <br /> Addendum to Work Plan for Site Assessment and Remediation Bench Tests, dated <br /> March 12, 2009 submitted by your consultant, WGR Southwest, Inc. and has the <br /> following comments. <br /> This addendum was submitted to address concerns the EHD noted in correspondence <br /> dated January 23, 2009. Based on information included in the Addendum, the EHD <br /> approves the modifications to the proposed monitoring well designs (screen length of 10 <br /> or 15 feet maximum), adherence to Technical and Regulatory Guidance for In Situ <br /> Chemical Oxidation (ISCO) of Contaminated Soil and Ground water, Second Edition, <br /> prepared by the Interstate Technology & Regulatory Council (ITRC), and testing for the <br /> analytes required by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB) to evaluate for waste discharge requirements (WDR) as part of the bench <br /> scale test (BST) for soil and ground water treatment using ozone and an <br /> ozone/hydrogen peroxide mixture ("perozone"). <br /> The clarification included in the addendum to conduct a bioremediation study at the edge <br /> of the dissolved petroleum plume is adequate and also approved. Please submit a Well <br /> Permit Application Form and $404 fee by April 15, 2009. <br /> Thank you for your cooperation.
