The meeting covered the results of the most recent investigation and <br /> also included a discussion of the feasibility of various remedial options for the site. <br /> As discussed, the County requests further evaluation of the lateral and vertical extent of <br /> chemical impact to groundwater. Regarding remedial options, the County recommended <br /> small scale bench tests to obtain site-specific data to evaluate the feasibility of the soil <br /> and groundwater remediation options proposed in the Remedial Action Plan. The data <br /> obtained will then be used to support changes to the RAP as appropriate. <br /> Based on the results of the meeting, WGR Southwest, on behalf of the Port, requests a <br /> 30-day extension to February 18, 2008 to submit a workplan for further investigation of <br /> chemical impact to groundwater and for additional testing for evaluation of potential <br /> remedial options for soil and groundwater.
