The former tank areas may be backfilled. However, due to
the proximity of groundwater and the elevated pipeline samples
(P8 & P9) , this site will remain on our "Contaminated Site List"
until a groundwater investigation is conducted for verification
of groundwater integrity.
The property owner has indicated that in the lease agreement
between Falcon Energy and the Port, a condition may exist which
places Falcon Energy responsible for the final cleanup of the
Port Rd. 21 & M former tank site. If this condition of the lease
is accurate, Falcon Energy must conduct the continued
investigation as previously mentioned above.
The concerns stated in the April 16, 1992 letter will be
addressed by Mr. Valinoti under separate cover.
If you have any questions, please contact Diane Hinson,
Supervising RENS, of my staff at (209) 468-3452 .
Jogi Khanna, M.D. , M.P.H.
HIalth
fofl fic r
►+1
Laurie A.
