Pg 4 <br /> Chronology: Port Rd. 21 & M SITE CODE: 1237 <br /> 07/10/89 San Joaquin County Public Health Serivices, <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) witnessed <br /> sampling of soil beneath pipelines of former <br /> UST's. Hydrocarbon odor and soil discoloration <br /> was observed at 4 feet below grade. <br /> 07/31/89 PHS/EHD received laboratory results from the <br /> 7/10/89 pipeline sampling event. Hydrocarbon <br /> contamination confirmed in sampling areas P8 & P9 . <br /> 05/07/90 PHS/EHD received Preliminary Report submitted by <br /> Port of Stockton prepared by Wm. Hunter & Assoc. <br /> 06/08/90 PHS/EHD sent letter to Port of Stockton placing <br /> the request for review on waiting list. <br /> 08/17/90 Port of Stockton was contacted by PHS/EHD staff <br /> regarding oversight in the Local oversight <br /> Program. Mr. Freggiaro, representative for the <br /> Port of Stockton, stated that a new tenant, Falcon <br /> Energy, leasing the space formerly known as Energy <br /> Petroleum may be interested in conducting clean up <br /> on their own. <br /> 02/21/91 Falcon Energy Associates, current tenants of the <br /> former Energy Petroleum site, write letter to <br /> PHS/EHD requesting authorization to fill tank <br /> excavations. <br /> 04/03/91 Falcon Energy Associates directs letter to PHS/EHD <br /> requesting specific guidance for 2 parcels of <br /> which Falcon leases from the Port of Stockton. <br /> 11/20/91 PHS/EHD received additional request from Falcon <br /> Energy to address the issue of the excavations <br /> left from the tank removals of 5/11/89 . <br /> 12/17/91 PHS/EHD staff conduct site inspection of former <br /> tank locations. Falcon Energy Associates occupy <br /> the northern portion of large parcel. Aboveground <br /> tanks formerly operated by Industrial Service <br /> Corporation are located behind fencing, on the <br /> southernmost area of the parcel. <br /> Discussed with Falcon Energy representatives the <br /> overexcavation conducted 10/29/90. Laboratory <br /> results have been submitted to PHS/EHD for review <br /> and comment. <br /> 02/11/92 PHS/EHD commenced file review for response to <br /> Falcon Energy' s request to backfill tank <br /> excavations. <br />
