Roy F. Weston, Inc . - Stockton Laboratory
Case Narrative
Client: THORPE OIL Project ## • L89052
LP # : 11588
Volatiles Case Narrative
`^VH analysis :
1 . This narrative covers the analysis of 2 soils .
2 . All required holding times were met.
3 . Initial calibration criteria was met for this analysis .
4 . Continuing calibration criteria was slightly low for the
end of run standard.
5 . The method blank associated with this group of samples
was free of target analyte interferences at, or above, the
reporting limits.
6 . There was no surrogate used in this analysis .
7 . Spike recoveries were within acceptable limits .
BTEX Analysis :
1 . This narrative covers the analysis of two soil samples .
2 . All required holding times were met.
3 . Initial calibration criteria was met for this analysis .
4 . Continuing calibration was high due to carryover from
a previous sample.
5 . The method blank associated with this group of samples
contained Benzene below reporting limits at a concentration
of 1 . 3 ppb. For this reason, the Benzene reported for sample
##2 SOUTH may be considered laboratory artifacts . This sample
was analyzed by high level also and showed no detectable
analytes at the 25 ppb reporting limit. All other target
analytes were not present in the method blank at, or' above,
the reporting 1-imit .
6 . Surrogate recoveries were within acceptable limits .
7 . Spike recoveries and RPD values were within acceptable
limits . ,
64,hvit, '411141111
G.R. Adams Date
Unit Leader
I
i
