One of
them is located near the front of the property and services only the office building that is
also located near the front of the property. The other is located further back on the
property, and services only the shop building that is also located on the property.
Currently, we have fifteen (15) people working in the office. Therefore, we do not
believe the septic tank that services that building serves more than twenty (20) people per
day.
Currently, we have seven (7) people working in the shop. However, that buildings
facilities are also used by some (but not all) of our drivers on a fairly regular, but
somewhat limited, basis. Unfortunately, we don't have any records indicating how many
of our drivers use that building's facilities each day. Therefore, we can't say for sure
how many people the septic system for that building serves each day. On some days it
may be more than twenty (20)people, and on other days it may not be.
With regard to storm water disposal, I'm told there is a drain at the lowest point of the
paved portion of the property, which is attached to an underground pipe that carries storm
water runoff to a large depression (or Swale) in the ground that is located in an
unimproved area toward the rear of the property.
I hope I have addressed all of the issues raised in your letter. If not, or if you have any
questions or need any additional information, please don't hesitate to contact me. I can
be reached by telephone at(509) 625-3950, or by e-mail at tmartin a,trans-system.com.
Thank you.
7405 S. Hayford Rd. •Cheney,WA 99004•P.O.
