This analysis will
be on a separate COC.
Soil samples should be reported as dry weight. The samples will be collected via stainless
steel or brass samplers provided by the driller.
Soil samples will be sent to TestAmerica Laboratories for analyses.
Groundwater
Groundwater samples are expected to be collected from borings BA-1 through BA-3 and
should be identified as BA-1-W through BA-3-W. Groundwater samples BA-1-W through
BA-3-W will be analyzed for TPH-GRO by EPA Method 8015; BTEX, MTBE, ETBE, TAME, DIPE,
TBA, and EtOH by EPA Method 8260B. Groundwater sample BA-1-W will also be analyzed
for TPH-DRO and TPH-ORO by EPA Method8015; and volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
by EPA Method 8260B.
Groundwater samples will be sent to TestAmerica Laboratories for analyses.
Waste Handling and Disposal
All investigation derived waste, including a maximum of 12 drums of soil generated from
boring clearance operations and drilling operations and 2 drums of water generated
from equipment cleaning operations will be stored on-Site in Department of
Transportation-approved 55-gallon drums pending the results of laboratory analyses.
Analytical results will be used for waste profiling and disposal. After profiling, Stantec will
contract Belshire Environmental Services Inc. to transport the drums and the waste will be
disposed of at Soil Safe in Adelanto, CA and the water will be disposed for at Evoqua in
Vernon, CA.
Design with community in mind
