Weber, Third Floor
Stockton, California 95202
Subject: Offsite Ryland Junction
Monitoring Well MW-19, Alden Park
Intersection of Willow Way and Sequoia Boulevard
Tracy, California
WORK PLAN FOR MONITORING WELL DESTRUCTION
Dear Mr. Infuma:
ENGEO Incorporated is pleased to provide this work plan for the destruction of one existing
monitoring well located on Willow Avenue at the Sequoia Boulevard intersection in Tracy, California.
The subject monitoring well was installed in 1996 for the purpose of observing and sampling
ground water. It is planned to install underground utilities at the location of the monitoring well
soon; therefore, this well needs to be destroyed and abandoned as required by the San Joaquin
County Environmental Health Department.
We propose to abandon the monitoring well by overdrilling it using hollow stem augers for the full well
depth and backfilling with neat cement. We will be in contact to coordinate the observation of the well
destruction with you.
If the scope of this work plan does not meet your requirements or you have any questions, please do
not hesitate to contact us.
Very truly yours,
ENGEO INCORPORATED Reviewed by:
William A.Niemand Duncan R.
