(Geomatrix) on behalf of Chevron Pipe Line Company (CPL). As discussed in the <br /> cover letter, the work plan is a revised version of the previously submitted Geomatrix work plan, dated <br /> 19 May 1994, and describes the additional characterization of soil and groundwater at the Alden Park <br /> site. <br /> The data obtained during this study will be utilized evaluate the extent of select petroleum hydrocarbon <br /> constituents in the subsurface and to prepare a heath risk assessment (HRA) work plan. The work plan <br /> will be submitted to the California Environmental Protection Agency Department of Toxic Substances <br /> Control (DTSC) and the California Regional Water Quality Control Board - Central Valley Region <br /> (RWQCB)in conjunction with the results of the additional characterization. <br /> CPL is currently in the process of preparing a Risk Assessment Review Agreement with the DTSC. It is <br /> estimated that the agreement will be executed by 28 February 1995. <br /> Please review the work plan at your earliest convenience so that we can initiate contact with the property <br /> owners who will be impacted by the proposed scope of work.
