Lee Higgins 0 -2 - 20 July 2010
Chevron—Alden Park
Annual 2010 Groundwater Monitoring Report
Floating product thickness in the wells ranged from approximately 6 to 11 feet, with
approximately 122 gallons removed during 2009 and 40 gallons removed the first
quarter of 2010. Since product removal was initiated in April 1997, approximately 927
gallons of product/water have been removed.
SAIC's Report recommended that Chevron:
• Continue annual groundwater monitoring and sampling of the wells that do not contain
floating petroleum product.
• Inspect MW-5 and MW-21 adsorbent socks semiannually and replace as needed.
• Continue removal of floating petroleum product on a quarterly basis.
Central Valley Water Board staff concurs with the findings of the Report for Alden Park.
Annual groundwater monitoring and sampling should continue on the same schedule in
accordance with MRP R5-2006-0812.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact Dean- Hubbard at (559) 445-5179.
fDSH ON R.
