Shaw Rd _ <br /> Stockton, CA l <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) has reviewed and <br /> accepted the"Revised Report Limited Soil and Groundwater Assessment"dated September 3, 1996 <br /> submitted by the Kleinfelder Company. <br /> Senior Engineer Greg K. Vaughn of the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) <br /> in a letter dated September 10, 1996, concluded tl•iat the low levels of petroleum, solvent, and sulfate <br /> detected in the soil and/or groundwater do not require further investigation or remediation. PHS-EHD <br /> concurs with the conclusion reached by the CVRWQCB and will require no further investigative or <br /> remedial activities to be conducted at this time. <br /> In order to issue a closure/site certification letter, PHS-EHD will require the following items to be attended <br /> to: <br /> the drill cuttings(soil)and containerized groundwater/purge waters still on site are to <br /> properly disposed of and a record of the method is to be submitted to PHS-EMD for <br /> the file, <br /> the three existing groundwater monitoring wells are to be properly destroyed under an <br /> approved workplan and a permit issued by PHS-EHD, <br /> • PHS-EHD account for services is to be paid in full. <br /> If well destruction is not an option for you at this time, a monitoring and sampling program is to be <br /> established and a report of the activities is to be submitted to PHS-EHD on a yearly basis. <br /> PHS-EHD thanks you for your cooperation during this investigation and congratulates you on a job well <br /> done.
