2.0 Project History <br /> Previous Initial Site Assessments (ISA), the Regional Water Quality Control Board's Leaking <br /> Underground Storage Tank Information System (LUSTIS) list, and all available data from the <br /> VISTA Information Solutions Inc. database have been reviewed to identify properties with <br /> hazardous waste concerns (Caltrans, 2001). The ISA identified the property as a former service <br /> station. Further research indicated that the service station was put out of business after a vehicle <br /> crashed into the pump island. Aerial photographs and topographic maps have also been <br /> reviewed to confirm past land use. According to the investigation, the tanks beneath the pump <br /> island were removed, but that there is a possibility that a waste oil tank still remains.
