(AGE) has prepared the enclosed Phase II Site <br /> Assessment Report for the property at 2349 Pacific Avenue, APN 113-354-23, in Stockton., <br /> California.The work was performed as part of a due diligence effort to investigate areas of potential <br /> environmental concern at the site, identified through a Phase I investigation of the property. <br /> The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board requirements for the investigation of <br /> underground storage tank(UST) sites was used as guidelines for the investigation. The location of <br /> the site and its surroundings are illustrated in Figure 1; major features on the site and boring <br /> locations are illustrated in Figure 2. <br /> INTRODUCTIONBACKGROUND <br /> The purpose of the investigation was to test for the presence or absence of suspected contaminants <br /> in the areas of identified potential concern associated with a former gasoline service station that <br /> operated at the subject property; potential concerns included releases of petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> related to former dispenser islands and underground storage tanks (USTs) located at the site. The <br /> scope of work included advancement of three probe borings to collect soil and grab ground water <br /> samples for laboratory analysis. <br /> The subject property is located in the central portion of the City of Stockton, San Joaquin County, <br /> on the southwest corner ofPacific Avenue and Central Court.Land use of the surrounding properties <br /> is both residential and.commercial. The subject site is the location of a former gasoline station. <br /> According to documents reviewed by AGE,the gasoline station was operated between approximately <br /> 1929 and 1942. <br /> Based on ground water monitoring data from the adjacent California Fuels site, ground water at the <br /> subject property is inferred to be at a depth of between 25 and 30 feet below surface grade and <br /> consistently flow towards the east-northeast. <br /> 837 Shaw Road,Stockton,California 95215 <br /> Telephone (209)467-1006 FAX(209)467-1118 .Advanced Geoimvironmental,Inc. <br />
