Avoid blindly placing hands or feet <br /> in closed or covered areas. Additionally, rodent feces may carry diseases or disease causing <br /> agents; avoid causing dust in the areas of rodent feces. <br /> Reptiles/Snakes <br /> The primary reptiles of concern are venomous snakes (rattlesnake). Avoid contact and areas that <br /> may harbor snake populations including shrubs, piles of materials, and crevices. In the event of a <br /> bite, immobilize the affected area and contact emergency medical services. In the event of a bite, <br /> note the snake's appearance if possible in order to describe the snake to emergency staff. <br /> Emergency medical services should be contacted.
