SAN ,dDAQ U I N Environmental Health Department <br /> C01-1 N T <br /> Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> TOYOTA TOWN 2150 E HAMMER LN, STOCKTON May 11, 2020 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(a)Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following hazardous waste containers were found on-site with an accumulation start date of <br /> greater than 90 days or no accumulation start date: <br /> -One 55-gallon drum containing paper used oil filters was lacking an accumulation start date. <br /> -One 55-gallon drum containing oily solids was lacking as accumulation start date. <br /> -One 55-gallon drum containing waste fuel was lacking an accumulation start date. <br /> -One 15-gallon drum containing oil from the draining of residual oil from plastic oil containers was lacking an <br /> accumulation start date. <br /> -One 15-gallon drums containing oil from the draining of residual oil from plastic oil containers had accumulation <br /> date longer than 90 days. <br /> Observed the labels on the 55-gallon drum containing paper used oil filters, 55-gallon drum containing oily solids, <br /> and 55-gallon drum containing waste fuel were corrected corrected during the inspection by facility personnel.The <br /> accumulation start dates were added to each label and observed to be no greater than 90 days. <br /> Per parts manager, the two 15-gallon containers listed above are used to collect the residual oil from the 1-quart <br /> plastic bottles so that the plastic containers may be discarded in the trash. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> (a)a generator may accumulate hazardous waste on-site for 90 days or less <br /> (b)The beginning of the 90 day period is determined as follows: <br /> (1)if the generator does not generate more than 100 kilograms of hazardous waste or one kilogram of acutely <br /> hazardous waste(listed in section 66261.33(e))or one kilogram of extremely hazardous waste during any calendar <br /> month, the 90 day period begins on the date the generator has accumulated 100 kilograms of hazardous waste or <br /> one kilogram of acutely hazardous waste or one kilogram of extremely hazardous waste; <br /> (2)if the generator generates more than 100 kilograms of hazardous waste or one kilogram of acutely hazardous <br /> waste or one kilogram of extremely hazardous waste during any calendar month,the 90-day period begins on the <br /> first date on which any amount of hazardous waste begins to accumulate during that month. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 90 days in <br /> compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations.
