Quarterly Report - Fourth Quarter 2003 <br /> Former MEL BOKIDES PETROLEUM -Linden <br /> 8203 East Highway 26, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request ofMr Nick Bokides of Mel Bokides Petroleum(MBP),Advanced GeoEnviromnental, <br /> Inc (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 8203 East Highway 26, <br /> Stockton, California(site) The scope of work Included the installation and sampling of two soil <br /> borings,the installation of a ground water monitoring well to replace a well in the former UST area, <br /> a soil vapor extraction pilot test of four soil vapor extraction (SVE) wells, quarterly ground water <br /> monitoring and preparation of this report The report was prepared in accordance with guidelines <br /> issued by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for subsurface <br /> Investigations of former underground storage tank(UST)systems The site location and site plan are <br /> Illustrated on Figures 1 and 2, respectively, the site background Information is summarized In <br /> Appendix A <br /> 2.0 PROCEDURES <br /> All field work procedures and reporting requirements are in accordance with guidelines Issued by <br /> . the Central Valley Region of the Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for <br /> subsurface investigation of underground storage tank(UST)system sites and the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD) for sampling of ground water monitoring wells <br /> The procedures for the scope of work were outlined in the Additional Site Assessment and Soil Vapor <br /> Extraction Feasibility Work Plan dated 12 August 2002 and the Work Plan Addendum - Site <br /> Assessment and Feasibility Analysis dated 18 September 2002,both prepared by AGE and approved <br /> by the EHD by letter dated 30 December 2002 <br /> 21 MONITORING WELL, VAPOR WELL AND SOIL BORING INSTALLATION <br /> PROCEDURES <br /> On 09 through 11 September 2003, a total of seven soil borings were advanced at the site Boring <br /> B6'was advanced at the north edge of the excavation area where the former USTs were located, at <br /> a 20 degree angle,to an extent of 80 feet B7 was advanced a few feet to the southeast of well MW-2 <br /> to 70 feet below surface grade (bsg), vertically Boring MW-1R was Installed to 100 feet bsg, east <br /> of the former UST area Boring VWIB was advanced under the building at the site, at a 20 degree <br /> angle from the east side towards the west,to an extent of 40 feet Boring V W 1 A was installed to 70 <br /> feet bsg, east of the former UST area, 15 feet to the south of well MW-1R Boring VW2 was <br /> Installed to 40 feet bsg, east of the former UST area, a few feet to the northeast of well MW-1R <br /> Boring VW3 was installed to 60 feet bsg, a few feet to the south of well MW-3 Boring location are <br /> depicted on Figure 2 <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
