• Site work area entrance and exit routes will be planned and emergency escape routes <br /> delineated by the site health and safety officer. <br /> • If any member of the field team experiences any effects or symptoms of exposure while on <br /> the scene, the entire field crew will immediately halt work and act according to the <br /> instructions provided by the site health and safety officer. <br /> • For applicable site activities, wind indicators visible to all onsite personnel will be provided by <br /> the site health and safety officer to indicate possible routes for upwind escape. <br /> • Identifying any conditions that suggest a situation more hazardous than anticipated will <br /> result in the suspension of work until the site health and safety officer has evaluated the <br /> situation and provided the appropriate instructions to the field team. <br /> • If an accident occurs, the Site Manager is to complete an accident report form for submittal <br /> to the appropriate company official. <br /> • If a member of the field crew suffers a personal injury, the site health and safety officer will <br /> call the ambulance (serious injury) to alert appropriate emergency response agencies or <br /> administer onsite first aid (minor injury) as the situation dictates. An Accident Report Form <br /> will be completed for any such incident. <br /> • If a member of the field crew suffers a chemical exposure, the affected areas should be <br /> flushed immediately with generous amounts of clean water. If the situation dictates, the <br /> site health and safety officer should alert appropriate emergency response agencies, or <br /> personally ensure that the exposed individual is transported to the nearest medical <br /> treatment facility for prompt treatment. An Accident Report Form will be completed for any <br /> such incident. <br /> Unexpected Hazards <br /> If there is any doubt regarding the degree of hazard of a particular circumstance, and personnel <br /> are unsure as to what measures to take or what protective equipment to utilize, the following steps <br /> should be taken to ensure the health and safety of those involved. <br /> 1) Stop Work Immediately and Secure the Area <br />
