SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
Based on the data collected from the site, AGE concludes
• Ground water flow direction at the site was northward at a gradient of 0 002 ft/ft or less Due
to the low gradient at the site, slight van ations in ground water measurements or changes of
recharge/discharge of the local ground water could greatly modify ground water flow
direction
• The decrease of ground water elevation of approximately 9 25 feet between November 2001
and July 2002 may be due to seasonal fluctuation
• TPH-d was detected in one ground water sample (MW-1) at a low concentration of 55 µg/1
• MTBE and BTEX compounds were not detected in the three water samples collected
5.0. RECOMMENDATION
I. Based upon data collected from the site, AGE recommends continued quarterly ground water
monitoring, the next quarterly monitoring event is scheduled for October 2002
I AGE has submitted Site Assessment and Soil Vapor Extraction Feasibility Work Plan, dated 12
August 2002 and Work Plan Addendum - Site Assessment and Feasibility Analysis, dated 08
September 2002, to implement a vapor extraction feasibility study to remediate the vadose zone at
the site
I6.0 LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based upon
analytical results provided by an Independent laboratory Evaluation of the hydrogeologic conditions
I at the site for the purpose of this Investigation was made from a limited number of available data
points(e g ,ground water samples)and subsurface conditions may vary away from these data points
No other warranty, expressed or Implied, is made as to the professional Interpretations, opinions and
recommendations contained in this report
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
I
