SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
Based on the data collected from the site, AGE concludes that
IThe highest concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons compounds were detected in samples
collected from the western wall of the former excavation Lower concentrations of petroleum
I hydrocarbons as gasoline were also detected in the floor sample and samples collected from
the north and west sidewalls Fuel oxygenates, including MTBE, TAME and TBA were
detected in all samples
• In total, approximately 195 metric tons of hydrocarbon-impacted soil have been successfully
removed and transported to an approved landfill
6 0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the findings of this investigation, AGE recommends
g
• Preparation of a work plan for installation of soil borings and possibly ground water
monitoring wells, if ground water is encountered
I • If ground water is encountered and wells are installed, a quarterly ground water monitoring
program should be initiated
I
70. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based upon
analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluation of the hydrogeologic conditions
at the site for the purpose of this investigation was made from a limited number of available data
points (soil and ground water samples) and subsurface conditions may vary away from these data
Points No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the professional recommendations
contained in this report
I
Advanced GeAnvlronmental,Inc
