Soil cuttings generated while drilling will be placed on and covered by visqueen and stored on site pending chemical analysis. Water generated during steam cleaning of auger and/or equipment will be left on site in labeled 55-gallon drums. Analysis and disposal of drill cutting and steam cleaning iaater is not included in this proposal. Laboratory Analysis Each of the soil and water samples selected for quantitative analysis will be submitted under chain-of-custody control to Sequoia Analytical Laboratories (Sequoia) of Sacramento, California. Sequoia is certified by the California Department of Toxic Substances to perform the requested analyses. Up to two soil samples and one water sample from each boring location will be submitted for analysis. The samples will be selected based upon field observations, qualitative field screening results, and the depth in the boring.
