Neenah Paper,Inc. July 27, 2010
First-Half 2010 Groundwater-Monitoring Report Page 7 of 7
Sample Collection
Groundwater samples were collected directly from the discharge pipe from the submersible
pump. The samples were stored on ice in a cooler, and delivered under chain-of-custody to BC
Laboratories, Inc. in Bakersfield, California for analyses.
Field Analyses
Field analyses for temperature, conductivity, and pH were performed on groundwater samples
using a Cole-Parmer portable pH/conductivity meter(model number 19825-00). Turbidity
measurements were performed on groundwater samples using a Cole-Parmer turbidimeter
(model number A391-50; Table 4).
Laboratory Analyses
Groundwater samples submitted to BC Laboratories, Inc. were analyzed for pH, conductivity,
TDS, sodium, sulfate, chloride, and nitrate (Table 4).
Summary tables of field and laboratory parameters are presented in Attachment A; time-series
graphs of field and laboratory parameters are presented in Attachment B; laboratory data sheets
and chain-of-custody forms are presented in Attachment C; L&A field notes are presented in
Attachment D, ECM and ECO:LOGIC Engineering field and laboratory data are presented in
Attachment E and Neenah Paper FR LLC provided data are presented in Attachment F.
005194.04 Task 4 Lawrence&Associates
W.•I CLIENTSIFoxRiver-NeenahlQuarterlyMonitoringl201011st half 2010 reporkdoc
