SA-89-44 OF THOMAS DAY <br /> ---------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> The Planning Division recommends that Site Approval Application <br /> No . SA-89-44 be approved subject to the following conditions : <br /> 1 . The trash enclosure shall be designed to accommodate a' 1 <br /> trash receptacles and shall be constructed on three sides <br /> with a solid wall and gated on the fourth side. <br /> 2 . Parking lot lighting shall meet the following minimum stan- <br /> dards: <br /> a. The equivalent of one foot candle of illumination shall be <br /> provided throughout the parking area. <br /> b. All lighting shall be on a time clock or photo-sensor <br /> system. <br /> c . Parking lot luminaires shall be high pressure sodium vapor <br /> with 90 degree cut-off and flat lenses . <br /> d. All lighting shall be designed to confine direct rays to <br /> the premises, with no spillover beyond the property line <br /> (except onto ideal parkways, provided such spillover does <br /> not cause a hazard to motorists) . <br /> 3 . All parking stalls and directional arrows shall be delineated <br /> with paint . <br /> 4 . No outdoor storage is permitted. <br /> 5 . Landscaping: <br /> Planter areas shall contain shrubs and/or living ground <br /> cover . Concrete, asphalt , and any surface material including <br /> rocks or bark are not acceptable. <br />
