Weber Street, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Subject: Workplan for Subsurface Investigation at Bobcat Central, 1113 Shaw Road, <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Dear Ms. Lagorio: <br /> ATC Associates Inc. has prepared this workplan for the performance of a subsurface <br /> investigation at the above referenced site. The purpose of the subsurface investigation is to <br /> evaluate if soil in the vicinity of three underground storage tanks (USTs) is impacted. The <br /> proposed scope of work includes obtaining permits, advancing two soil borings, soil sampling, <br /> and preparing a summary report. The scope of work is described in detail in the following <br /> paragraphs. <br /> SITE LOCATION <br /> The site is located on the west side of Shaw Road and north of Fremont Street in Stockton, <br /> California, as shown on Figure 1. The site is currently occupied by Bobcat Central, a retailer of <br /> small construction equipment. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Planning and Permits <br /> ATC has completed the soil boring permit application for the proposed subsurface investigation. <br /> The permit application and associated fees (check no. 478) are attached to this workplan. ATC <br /> will schedule field personnel and equipment, notify Underground Services Alert to locate <br /> underground utilities as required, and perform any other necessary field preparation and job start- <br /> up activities. <br /> w:\wordpro\194070003\wkp.doc 1 <br />
