The business operator <br /> does not have hazardous waste determination records that support the current handling and disposal of the waste. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A business operator shall keep records of any hazardous waste determinations made <br /> in accordance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations(CCR)section 66262.11 for at least three years from the <br /> date that the waste was last sent to an on-site or off-site treatment, storage, or disposal facility. The records may <br /> include Safety Data Sheets(SDS), waste test results or other hazardous waste determination documentation. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Assemble the hazardous waste determination documentation for the sand blast media <br /> waste, maintain on site and submit a copy to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD). <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> OBSERVATION: The eyewash next to the hazardous waste storage area did not produce a flow of water when <br /> tested. The water reservoir was approximately 10%full. The water contained sediment. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All facility communications or alarm systems,fire protection equipment, spill control <br /> equipment, and decontamination equipment,where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure <br /> its proper operation in time of emergency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the eyewash iinto proper working order by repair or replacement.
