Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2011
IDEALEASE - STOCKTON
1137 South Stockton Street, Stockton, California
1.0. INTRODUCTION
At the request of Idealease of Stockton, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has
prepared this quarterly report for 1137 South Stockton Street, Stockton, California (the
site). The scope of work included the performance of a quarterly ground water monitoring
event, submission of monitoring and analytical data to the Water Resources Control
Board's GeoTracker information management system and preparation of this report. The
site and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1. Structure, boring and well
locations are illustrated in Figure 2. Background information is included in Appendix A.
2.0. PROCEDURES
On 16 September 2011, a quarterly ground water monitoring event was conducted at the
site. Depth to ground water measurements were collected from monitoring wells MW-1
through MW-4. Wells MW-1, MW-2 and MW-4 were sampled in accordance with AGE's
standard monitoring and sampling procedures, described in Appendix B. Field data and
logs are provided in Appendix C. Ground water monitoring well construction details are
summarized in Table 1.
3.0. FINDINGS
The ground water elevation, flow direction, and gradient were determined from field data
collected on 16 September 2011 ; the contaminant impact to ground water was quantified
by the laboratory analytical data.
• At the time of the September 2011 monitoring event, depths to ground water ranged
from 13.28 feet (MW-1) to 14.90 feet (MW-3) below the tops of the well casings
(btoc). Ground water elevation at the site ranged from 5.11 feet(MW-1)to 5.35 feet
(MW-4) below North American Vertical Datum (NAVD88) and averaged
approximately 5.19 feet below NAVD88. Depth to ground water and ground water
elevation data is included in Table 2.
• Ground water flow direction was determined from the ground water elevation data
from wells MW-1 through MW-4. The ground water was inferred to be flowing
radially towards a ground water depression centered at well MW-4, at hydraulic
gradients of 0.003 feet per foot (ft/ft), and 0.004 ft/ft. Figure 2 illustrates the
contoured ground water elevations as measured on 16 September 2011 .
• Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as diesel (TPH-d) were reported in wells
MW-2 and MW-4 at concentrations of 290 micrograms per liter(Ng/1) and 260 pg/l,
respectively.
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
