Wong: JJ
SUBJECT : Use Permit Application No . UP-89-28
Dear Mr . Wong:
At the Development Committee meeting of September 13, 1989 , you
were advised that the above-referenced application would not be
scheduled to go before the Planning Commission until the
following issues were resolved:
1 . Information on traffic loads submitted to substantiate that
there would be no increase in traffic volumes generated by
the proposed project,
2 . Utilities facilities plan dealing with water , sewer and
storm drainage submitted for Public Works ' review,
3 . Petition for abandonment of Farm Street received and, at a
minimum, scheduled for the Board of Supervisors with a
recommendation for approval .
On October 3, 1989 , you directed a letter to Public Works and
Public Health Services that partially addressed the above-listed
issues . It is my understanding that the Department of Public
Works will be contacting you soon to advise you of what
additional information may be required.
The purpose of this letter is to advise you that the Planning
Commission must either take action on UP-89-28 at the Planning
meeting of November 16 , 1989 or the application must be with-
drawn. This is due to the fact that UP-89-28 was accepted as
complete for processing on May 23, 1989 and under the Stream-
lining Act the County has six months to process an application
under a Negative Declaration.
