ATC Associates Inc <br /> 1117 Lone Palm Avenue, Suite B <br /> Modesto, California 95351 <br /> { <br /> 209-579-2221 <br />' ASSOCIATES I NC Fax 209-579-2225 <br /> ATC submitted the Remediation System Installation Report on September 21, 2005 documenting <br /> the installation of the vapor extraction system On November 1, 2005, ATC submitted the Vapor <br /> Extraction System Startup report for the site <br /> Remediation system startup was performed on September 6, 2005 At the time of startup, vapor <br />' samples were taken under supervision of a SJVACD regulator <br /> A request to establish a secondary power source for the remediation system was submitted to Pacific <br />' Gas & Electric (PG&E) Company on July 13, 2005 On August 18, 2005, an engineer from PG&E <br /> visited the site to describe the most feasible and cost effective manner to establish a separate power <br /> source to the remediation compound PG&E installed a new transformer on a near-by existing electric <br /> pole located on Stemegul Road and rare an over-head power to a customer built pole on the property <br /> The generator was taken off-line on February 20, 2006 when the direct feed electrical service was <br /> completed <br />' GROUNDWATER SAMPLING ACTIVITIES <br /> On May 24, 2006, ATC personnel collected groundwater samples from MW 1 through MW6, <br /> MW8 and MW9 and the on-site domestic well (DW) The well locations are shown on Figure 2 <br /> Prior to collecting groundwater samples, the depth-to-water (DTW), pH, electrical conductivity, <br />' and temperature were measured Approximately three well casing volumes were purged from <br /> each well prior to sampling Turbidity was visually observed in groundwater purged from the <br /> monitoring wells and recorded The wells were allowed to recover and samples were collected <br /> from each well using dedicated disposable bailers After groundwater samples were collected, <br /> dissolved oxygen was measured in groundwater purged from each well <br />' The groundwater samples collected from each well were submitted to Argon Laboratories Inc , a <br /> state-certified analytical laboratory (Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program <br /> Certification No 2359), for chemical analyses Each sample was analyzed for TPHg utilizing <br /> EPA Method 8015M, BTEX utilizing EPA Method 802113, and MTBE, tertiary butyl alcohol <br /> (TBA), tertiary amyl ether (TAME), di-isopropyl ether (D1PE), ethyl tertiary butyl ether(ETBE), <br />' 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), and 1,2-drbromoethane (EDB) utilizing EPA Method 8260B <br /> Groundwater well purge and sample logs are contained rn Attachment 1 <br /> 1 <br /> S 1625881031quarterW-nd qU-2006 doe 3 <br /> 1 <br />
