A S S Q C I A T E S I N C FaX 209-579-2225
ANALYTICAL RESULTS
The groundwater samples collected from MW3 and MW8 and the on-site domestic well
contained no detectable concentrations of TPHg and BTEX These target analytes have not been
detected at method detection limits in MW8 since November 28, 2000 MWI, MW2, MW4,
MWS, MW6, and MW9 contained detectable concentrations of TPHg and/or BTEX constituents
MW4 contained detectable concentrations of TPHg but not other target analytes Concentrations
of TPHg, and BTEX constituents detected in the groundwater sample collected from MWI
increased since the previous groundwater monitoring event conducted on February 16, 2005
The groundwater samples collected from MW8 and the on-site domestic well contained no
detectable concentrations of MTBE, TBA, DIPE, ETBE, TAME, 1,2-DCA, or EDB The
groundwater samples collected from MW5 and MW6 contained detectable concentrations of
MTBE at 5 0 micrograms per liter (ug/L) and 110 ug/L, respectively The groundwater samples
from MWI, MW2, MW3, MWS, MW6, and MW9 contained detectable concentrations of 1,2-
DCA respectively as follows 76 ug/L, 54 ug/L, 1 0 ug/L, 13 ug/L, 230 ug/L, and 2 5 ug/L MW5
contained detectable concentrations of TBA at 12 ug/L The groundwater samples collected from
MWI, MW2, MW4, MW8, and MW9 contained no detectable concentrations of MTBE, TBA,
DIPE, ETBE, TAME, or EDB although the reporting limits for MW 1 and MW2 were elevated
• due to dilution
Analytical results of groundwater samples are summarized in Table 2 and laboratory data sheets
for groundwater and soil cuttings are contained in Attachment 2
GEOTRACKER DATA UPLOAD
The depth to water data was submitted electronically to the State Water Resources Control Board
(SWRCB) Geotracker database (confirmation number 3946304142) and the laboratory data was
also submitted electronically to the SWRCB Geotracker database (confirmation number
8428922355) The facility has been assigned a Geotracker global identification number
T0607700051 Documentation of the data submittal is contained in Attachment 3
RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the results of the second quarter 2005 monitoring event, we recommend the following
• Continue quarterly monitoring and analyze samples from the monitoring wells for TPHg,
BTEX, MTBE, ETBE, DIPE, TBA, TAME, 1,2-DCA, and EDB
• Continue development of the remediation system proposed in ATC's Interim Remediation
Plan (IRP) dated March 25, 2004 and approved in a letter from SJCEHD dated April 23,
2004
. • Perform VE4 elevation well survey
SIenviromenta]125291\reponsl2ndQR-2005 doc 3
