Greer Property
15634 Steinegul Road, Escalon, California
Quarterly Groundwater Sampling Report
July, 2001
Narrative
On June 26, 2001, WIC', Inc, conducted field measurements, well pumping and groundwater
sampling at rune (9) groundwater monitoring wells and one (1) domestic well located at this
site(Figure 1 &2)
Groundwater elevations were taken from nine(9) wells prior to pumping (Table 1 & Appendix
B) Morutonng wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, MWA MW-5, MW-6, MW-8, MW-9 and
MW-10 were evacuated by means of a steam-cleaned, stainless steel bladder type pump Each
well was sampled with a disposable bailer During the stabilization process for each well,
samples were collected to measure field pH, electrical conductivity and temperature (Table 3,
Appendix B) Once stability was achieved, the samples were collected for laboratory analysis
The samples were then labeled and placed in an ice chest cooled with Blue Ice®
The samples were then logged on a Chain of Custody and transported to GeoAnalytical
Laboratories, Inc, in Modesto, Cahforrua for analysis (Appendix A) The analyses requested
for the water samples was EPA method 8021B for BTX&E (Benzene, Toluene, Xylene, and
Ethyl-Benzene), and EPA method (5030/Luft) for gasoline MTBE (Methyl Tertiary Butyl
Ether),concentrations were analyzed by EPA method 8260B The analytes and concentrations
detected are listed m Table 2 of this report The laboratory analytical data, chain of custody
report, and QA/QC documents can be found in Appendix A of this report
Groundwater Gradient
Groundwater elevations are referenced in Table 1 of this report During this quarter the
' groundwater gradient flowed in a southeast direction (S35°E) at 0 041 fUft (Figure 3)
Ostoncal gradient maps are included in Appendix C of this report
